Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin is a native of New Zealand, born in Wellington but was born and raised in Winnipeg made her acting d but in The Piano. At age 11 she was the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. If she answered a request for auditions her name was picked in the role of Flora McGrath, the daughter of a deaf Scottish piano player who moved from Scotland to New Zealand in mid-19th-century to marry. The actress was just nineteen and did not have any prior experience in acting. She emigrated in the United States as a teen. Paquin played the child title in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre in the year 1996. The actress also had the lead part on the screen in Fly Away Home, a movie from the year. Paquin played Frankie Addams, a character from Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. The actress also played the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as in the role of the polexia Aphrodisa groupie in Almost Famous (2000).
